Plates that define The Corner House
Every dish tells a story of Nepal's rich culinary heritage — hand-pinched momo, aromatic slow-braised curries, and sizzling tandoori platters crafted with traditional spices.
Alongside the Nepalese dishes, the kitchen also cooks Indian favourites like Chicken Korma and Chicken Masala. Order a curry to take away
“We source our timmur and timilo spices directly from Nepal. Each marinade rests 24 hours.”

Our story
Our Story
Pints, momo, and matchday buzz for locals, hotel guests, and travelling fans
Built in the 1930s on the site of the old Butchers Arms, The Corner House is an Art Deco landmark with fireplaces, timber snugs, and real ales that have anchored Abbey for nearly a century.
Since 2024 under Lapen Inns, we've paired that heritage with a Kathmandu-led kitchen — hand-pinched momo, Chicken Rum Rum, Himali Lamb, and pub classics that keep both locals and hotel guests coming back.
Find us on Newmarket Road, opposite Cambridge Retail Park: away-fan friendly, family- and dog-welcoming, with free Wi-Fi, an accessible ramp entrance and seats by the fire.
