Is Nepalese food like Indian food?
The two share the clay oven (tandoor) and many spices, and our kitchen cooks both. The Nepalese dishes on our menu bring their own herbs and spices: timur and Himalayan herbs in Chicken Rum Rum, jimbu in Sherpali Chicken and akabare chilli in Akabare Chicken.
Do you serve Indian dishes too?
Yes. The kitchen also cooks Indian favourites, including Chicken Korma, Chicken Masala, Chicken Biryani and Special Butter Chicken, and Balti, Karahi, Bhuna, Saag, Dhansak, Jalfrezi, Madras, Vindaloo and Phaal curries.
Do you have vegetarian Nepalese dishes?
Yes. Special Veggie Tarkari, Gurkha Aalo and Nepalese Rice Pudding carry the veg label on our menu, and Momo (Veg/Chicken) comes in a Veg version. Menu labels are not allergy advice.
Can I order Nepalese food to take away?
Yes. Collection: order by phone on 01223 603907 or at the bar (10% off collection orders). Delivery: order through Just Eat. Nepalese dishes such as Momo (Veg/Chicken), Chicken Rum Rum and Himali Lamb are on our takeaway menu. Takeaway menu
Is it spicy?
Dishes with a spice label show it as on our menu: Akabare Chicken is labelled spice-2 and Chicken Rum Rum spice-1. Our menu also says bespoke spice levels are available: just ask.
I have a food allergy. What should I do?
Please speak to our team about allergies before you order. Allergen information
